Next Monday night the Dallas Cowboys will travel to Soldier Field to do battle with the Chicago Bears. Dallas will notice a lot of familiar faces sporting Chicago Bear uniforms. Jay Ratliff, Martellus Bennett, Tony Fiametta, Dante Rosario and Landon Cohen are all playing for the Bears now.
This game is guaranteed to be a cold one. There is rarely a game played here that Lake Michigan is not influencing the winds in the stadium. This cold and wind that is forecast for Monday Night Football may make the ground game more necessary.
While the Bears will be without linebacker Lance Briggs and cornerback Charles Tillman, the Cowboys will be welcoming back Sean Lee. It is not known, as of now, if core Special teamer Dwayne Harris will return from his hamstring injury. Mo Claiborne is unlikely to be ready to play this week.
Chicago has plenty of talent on their offense. Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery are formidable opponents. Matt Forte is a weapon for the Bear’s offense on the ground and through the air.
Look for a slug fest as these two teams are both fighting for a playoff spot.
The Cowboys will have an ex-Bear player on their roster as well, recently signed former Bear’s fullback Tyler Clutts.
