For their last schedule meeting of the 2013 season, the Dallas Cowboys plowed into MetLife stadium.
The first score came as Orlando Scandrick strips the ball from Victor Cruz. The ball is recovered by Jeff Heath and he scores his first professional touchdown with a fifty yard return. 7-0 Dallas.
The Giants manage to score a field goal as the Dallas defense holds them to 3 points after the Giants were first and goal from the nine yard line.
The third score of the game came with a Tony Romo 20 yard strike to his favorite target, Jason Witten. 14-3 Dallas.
The Cowboys again hold the Giants to another field goal after being first and goal. 14-6 Dallas.
The refs were really poor this game. They reversed a turnover with a ticky-tacky call on Brandon Carr as he was called for illegal contact. Rubin Randle tripped after tangling his feet with Carr giving the Giants the ball back and a free first down.
Manning throws a ball “up for grabs” that falls incomplete. Victor Cruz should have been penalized for offensive interference.
Romo throws his 200th career touchdown and his second of the day to Jason Witten for a 2 yard touchdown. Dallas 21-6.
Eli Manning hits Brandon Myers and Bruce Carter makes one of his worst plays of his career by not touching Myers down. Myers gets up after the completion and strolls into the end zone untouched. 21-13 Dallas.
Terrance Williams is interfered with by McBride and no flag was thrown by these officials, once again.
Dez Bryant fumbles for a twenty yard loss taking the Cowboys out of potential field goal range. The defense for the Boys then holds the Giants and they are forced to punt.
There was a stupid penalty by B. W. Webb of the Cowboys for a block in the back moving their return back half the distance to the 8 yard line. The Cowboys then go 3 and out for the first time in the game.
Eli Manning moves the Giants then hits Morris Murphy in the back of the end zone and Brown rushes in for the two point conversion tying the game at 21 with 4:45 left to play in regulation.
The Cowboy defense was beat up in the running game, all game. Jason Hatcher had two sacks on the day.
Tony Romo moves the team with precision on the final drive.
Romo hits Dez twice on third down. The ball is at the Giants 49 yard line with just 2:00 left in the game. Romo hits Miles Austin for a huge first down to the Giants 29 yard line with 1:43 let. It was Austin’s first catch of the game and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Romo hits Dez on the 6 yard line, but it is ruled that he didn’t control the ball all the way through the catch. Romo then finds Cole Beasley at the 15 with 1:17 left in regulation. The Giants are out of time outs and the Cowboys run the clock and use their last timeout with 4 seconds left in the game. Then, Dan “Money” Bailey kicks the winning field goal from 35 yards out to sweep the Giants in this 2013 season. There is no team the Cowboys would rather beat. The Giants choke on their big talk and head to their locker room as losers once again!
