The Dallas Cowboys are visiting the NY Giants in East Rutherford, NJ. This is an important game for both teams. The Cowboys are welcoming back two members to the defensive line, Demarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher, along with cornerback Mo Clairborne. On the offensive side of the ball the Cowboys are hoping to get Miles Austin back into the swing of things. Will this be enough to beat a very vocal Giants team that has won 4 straight games? How much will this wind and cold effect this game?
Both rival teams are desperate for a win. The Cowboys are going to try to help Eli Manning increase his interceptions totals for the season. The Cowboys will be expecting a battle in the trenches. Tyron Smith will try to once again hold his own against J.P. Paul.
It will be crucial that the Cowboys offensive line give Tony Romo time in the pocket. Tony must have time to find Dez Bryant and Miles Austin early and often. If they are able to do this, Jason Witten should have another big game.
Without Sean Lee, the defense will rely on Bruce Carter to call the defensive plays and get players in the proper positions for this defensive backfield to be effective.
While it will be a frozen field, it remains to be seen which team will end the day feeling a renewed warmth and which team will be cold, demoralized and defeated.
