Ware: “Window Closing”

In a recent conversation on Mike and Mike in the Morning, DeMarcus Ware admitted that the Dallas Cowboys’ door might be closing on their championship hopes. He said the team needs to play more consistently and cut back on turnovers, while playing better defense as well. While his comments are not ridiculous, they are eye-opening coming from a franchise player and one that has played valiantly through injuries during his six year tenure in the big D. Ware said that while he feels they are better than a .500 team, their record and inconsistent play has proved otherwise. He also said that no matter the name on your jersey, if you are 5-5 you are still 5-5.

Do you agree with his comments? How much time left in this current regime do you think the Cowboys have to win a ring? How about the state of the quarterback position, where former star Troy Aikman said the Cowboys should look to start drafting quarterbacks, like Green Bay does every year?
