Cowboys Get Set for Primetime

The Cowboys will play their second primetime game and first Monday Night Football game tonight against the Bears. The game is the teams last before heading into the bye week. A win tonight will be huge for momentum going into the teams long stretch of games that include the likes of the Ravens, Giants, Eagles, Falcons, Bengals, Steelers, and Redskins.

The Bears have been inconsistent thus far this season. As they are still looking for their identity, the defense is still there strong suit, especially there front seven. I do see it being difficult for the Cowboys to be able to run the ball. However, the Cowboys should be able to throw the ball. While the Bears are only allowing 185 yards passing a game, I don’t see them having the personnel to matchup with the Cowboys weapons. Look for Tony Romo to have a week 1 like performance and spread the ball around all over the field.

On defense, the Cowboys will be trying to stop two injured backs. Both Matt Forte and Michael Bush are both expected to play but keeping the running backs will be a huge part of the game. It’s huge to stop the running game because the passing game has not been all that successful. You can be sure the Cowboys have watched plenty of the Bears-Packers game from week 2 where constant pressure forced quarterback Jay Cutler to unravel. If the defense can make him uncomfortable, things can go the Cowboys way tonight.

Outcome: I see the Cowboys winning this game. Look for Tony Romo, on offense, and Demarcus Ware ,on defense, to be the shining stars for the Cowboys tonight. Dallas beats Chicago 24-13
