A Giant Win in Dallas

For the second week in a row the Cowboys have lost a heartbreaker.  Both the last two weeks the Cowboys have made field goals in the final seconds of the game only to have to re kick and then miss the 2nd attempt.  This week vs. the Giants though, it should not have come down to that.

Dallas was up 12 with less than 4 minutes to play in the 4th.  But the Giants would not give up.  Eli Manning, who has had a terrific year, led the Giants back in the 4th.  This was a game for first place, and one the Giants needed.  They were behind the Cowboys by a game going into this one.  Jacobs had a huge game for NY rushing for 101 yards and 2 TDs.

After Dallas blew the lead they still had a chance to tie with a field goal.  NY iced the kicker on the first try by calling a time out.  Dan Bailey had to try again.  On the second try it was blocked by Jason Pierre Paul.

These two teams will meet one more time.  Next game will be the regular season finale in NY.  A game that is almost certain to have playoff implications for both teams.
